Black & Shiro is the first place to begin when creating a Modern & Luxurious space.

 

 

          What’s important to you?

Time is important, one of the few things you spend and don’t get back. My thinking when creating Black and Shiro in 2018 was stop wasting everyone’s time and allow you to go from this store to a new couch. In this day and age, it seemed barbaric to make me drive my couch home myself when I can order a chandelier with someone to install it over the internet. When I started going through the finer details, I learned the truth is that nearly 50% of the cost of any product is just from all the hands it passes through before it gets to you or me.

 

          What do you do?

I created Black and Shiro to sell retail furniture without all the middle people. Here, customers use our platform to tell manufacturers directly what they want. We aim to give people a voice for deciding what they want, with as much ability for choice as we can find. My team spends countless hours trying to provide the most seamless experience for buying, and great patience in customer support. The team and myself are constantly working to fill any holes in our design and fill in any gap in our customer service. Technically it’s everyone around me doing a lot of the work, and it’s the teamwork that really brings it all together.

 

          How is the business run?

Black and Shiro is able to maintain our competitive prices by reducing the number of cooks in the kitchen; The warehouse, the distributor, the store front, the shipping company, the primary website, we took all of them, and told them to go away. You contact us, we contact the manufacturer and you’re on your way to a new couch or waterfall fountain (waterfall fountains on the way). I looked for the companies that wanted to provide the best value, companies like Apt2B which prioritizes comfort and luxury at an affordable price for all home sizes. Black and Shiro aims to work with companies that are here for you and if you work with us, you can rest assured knowing we’re on your side. We’re a service industry, emphasis on service. We’re here for you first, we’re a business after that.
